Its goal is to enhance everyone’s ability to help the child be as successful as possible. A Psychoeducational Evaluation Can Provide Insight...Have you ever wondered... What kind of learner is my child? Why is my child struggling in one subject, but not others Why does my child cry at the thought of school or doing homework? Why have my child’s grades declined? Why do I have to repeat myself over and over to get my child to do something? Why is my child struggling to make friends? Why is my child misbehaving in class? Why is my child so nervous? Why does my child seem so disorganized? Why does my child seem bored?

  • How does a private psychoeducational evaluation differ from a school psychologist’s evaluation?
A private psychoeducational evaluation is the most comprehensive. Your child is our first priority whereas the school psychologist works for the school district. Testing via your child's public school district usually takes longer as most districts are backlogged. Some parents may not want "labels' attached to their children. Private evaluation results can be shared with your child's school at the parents' discretion.
